Well Lit Soul is a new endeavor into living my life’s purpose. In early 2023 I learned that my purpose is to see, hear, and touch souls.

My personal purpose became clear after:

• Reflecting on the lessons I learned from my deepest pains in life: empathy

• Identifying my greatest passions: connecting with people

• Considering the challenges throughout the world I could use my gifts, skills, and knowledge to address: isolation, darkness, hopelessness

My greatest trials in life opened my eyes to suffering and despair in ways that I had never understood before. Almost like a sixth sense, I began to see the hidden pain that people carried behind their eyes and deep in their spirits. But instead of quiet struggles, I could hear them loud and clear. All around me from every direction. So I decided to use this “skill” to reach people beyond the surface and connect with them through our mutual pain. Even if the agony was unrelated, I could create space to share in doubt and sorrow.

This practice showed me I could see the invisible, hear the inaudible, and touch the intangible. I want to use this gift to reach people in their darkest times, when they are full of grief and feel most alone. I want to share my journey of healing and use my light to encourage them through trials. To walk with them through the storms of life. And to remind them all the reasons they have to hope.

So I created Well Lit Soul with the goal of making light work my life’s work. It is intended to be a dedicated outlet to shine my light and offer resources for others to grow and share their light. A space where we are fueled by the original source of light and work to shine in the darkness.
